Internet Requirements

We are able to bring a very low cost monitoring system to market because we rely on your existing internet connection. If you're not familiar with WEP keys, 802.11 networks or access points don't worry!

Here is a simple explanation to see if iWatch will work at your marina and some things we think you should know before you buy iWatch...

Things you should know -
iWatch MUST have an internet connection to work properly.
You need to setup iWatch - just about any mobile device (iPhones, iPads, Android devices) or a computer will work. After the hardware is installed (the iWatch module and float switch) a normal phone setup takes about 10 minutes.

What works -
If your marina gives you a long code, security key, or password that you only have to enter once to get to the internet, iWatch is for you and setup is VERY easy!

What works, but costs more -
If your marina gives you a username and a password where you need to sign in every time, iWatch may not work with your existing internet connection. We have options that will work at these marinas and you will need to call our friendly tech support for details. iWatch is still for you, but it may cost a little more if additional hardware is required.

No internet at your marina -
Even with no internet connection, we have options! iWatch can still deliver peace of mind, it will cost a little more for hardware and require a monthly fee.
